You know, God is great! So great! So stinkin great! I don't care who you are, what you have done, what you do, where you are going, where you have been... You ought to know: GOD IS GREAT & HE LOVES YOU! It is not about who you are, it is about who He is!
--- WOW! So on March 22nd something powerful happened here at the University of Mobile! --- For all readers, I will call it A REVIVAL!
Over Spring Break, God met a man who was addicted to a lifestyle of drugs & alcohol and had been for over six years. He met him in a worship leadership class & changed his life. The meeting was so personal & real that his encounter with God is now bringing more & more people into the Kingdom of Life. God gave him (Tyler Anderson) a vision. This vision is what we now call "The Awakening". It is forty days of fasting & praying! WOW! It started out with four guys praying: Tyler Anderson, John Pieper, Brennan Carrol, and Brandon Price. They prayed together (which I can imagine was a powerful moment) and it blessed them so much that they did it again the next night... the amount of guys increased :) Woo hoo! Well, the next night Tyler felt like women could come! It was quite a few of us that night... and God met us right there in the chapel.
The service was led by the Spirit of God. There was no agenda. There were no rules. If someone had a song to sing to the LORD, they sang it; if someone had a word to speak, they spoke it; if someone had a prayer, they prayed it. We all ministered to the LORD, through the LORD, and to each other. It was beautiful!
By midday the following day, I was ready to be back in the chapel. I was ready for more fellowship with the Father & other believers. I was ready!!! (So was everyone else) Well, clearly... God is attractive... So you can guess what happened! The amount of folks who showed up INCREASED! Every night got bigger and bigger.
The awesome thing is, in God's eyes, it is not about numbers! Instead it is about personal intimacy with Him! & you can guess, people are becoming intimate with God through these meetings.
Just a testimony of what goes on in the meetings: Two people (or more) have given there lives to Christ, a man who was addicted to pornography was set free, a man who was addicted to drugs & alcohol was set free, a woman oppressed by a demon was set free, and a friend came in with a cast & crutches and left running free :) Yeah, this is just an idea of how God meets people in the natural. What is going on in the hearts of His people is more intense. He is showing up as healer & deliver for the sake of people knowing that HE LOVES THEM ENOUGH to do so! God is love & He is willing to show that to anyone who is willing to see that!
Some opposition has come our way & that is okay. It happens. The truth is, there is nothing we can do about that! We are just there to meet with God as a body & to bless Him for His unfailing love.
Every night is different. Every night is beautiful. The leaders are not perfect people, but they are laid-down lovers of Jesus Christ. They want to know Him, to see Him and to be used by Him to reveal God's love to all people.

COME ALL YE WHO ARE HUNGRY! COME SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD! THE LORD IS GOD! :)

God is greater than anything. He is worthy of your life. He is worthy of your thoughts, words and actions. He wants to be your everything. He wants to love you. HE IS LOVE.
TESTIMONY OF COLBY CORLEY "I was looking forward to the thought of being healed but apprehensive at the same time. I didn't think that I would ever be healed because my pain was nothing compared to what I know others are going through. John Pieper prayed for me and told me that, "Through Jesus's shed blood on the cross your pain is made worthy. By your faith He wants to heal you. Claim it." So I did. After being prayed over by about 20 believers twice, I walked.. After being filled with the spirit, through each person touching my shoulders as I walked back and forth, I ran! It didn't hurt to take those steps of faith! Jesus led me.. HE led Chynna to ask me to come.. HE is the one who healed my knee. By His stripes I was healed! Glory to God in the Highest for what was the "Miracle" but a extension of grace! "Where two or more are gathered, He is there!""
